Prior to founding eLogic, Mike held executive management positions in Fortune 500 industrial and process industry companies including ITT Industries, Goulds Pumps and Exxon Mobil Corporation. Mike's diverse manufacturing sector background includes a balance of operating and technology leadership positions including Chief Information Officer, Vice President and General Manager, and Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service. Throughout Mike's management career the common thread has been a strong focus on improving business results through process optimization and technology leverage. Personally, Mike is a high-energy level professional equally capable at the strategy and implementation level in working with other executive teams to achieve results. He remains passionate about enabling manufacturers to become competitive by removing waste from all demand-driven operations and adopting high-yield commerce practices.
Lawrence Matusek, Managing Partner — Consulting OperationsLawrence has more than twenty years of experience in engineering and information technology consulting. As a Manager Partner for eLogic Group, he is responsible for consulting operations and the delivery of client project services. Throughout his career, Lawrence has applied a high degree of creativity and deep technical knowledge to deliver uniquely optimized solutions in engineering and manufacturing. Prior to joining eLogic, he held management positions in large consulting firms including KPMG and IBM Global Services. Lawrence is a board member of the SAP Configuration Workgroup (CWG) and co-chairs a focus group for Guided Selling, Proposal Generation, and Graphical Configuration. His engineering expertise entails designing, constructing, running, and maintaining large industrial systems across several industries. Lawrence is a widely recognized solution architect for product configuration and engineer-to-order systems. He brings a multi-discipline perspective to business challenges and has routinely devised solutions and recovered projects where other consulting firms were unsuccessful. He has a proven track record of continual innovation that has driven dramatic process improvements for customers.
Rick Steber, Managing Partner — Business DevelopmentRick is an accomplished former corporate officer and industrial business executive with more than thirty years of progressive experience. As general manager of various global business platforms he has produced superior performance in financial results and organizational improvement. Rick's knowledge and skills include all facets of executive performance including strategy development and deployment, business development (including creation of new international business platforms), product and service development, enterprise business systems implementation, merger/integration successes, creation of high performance management teams, and successful multiple bottom line improvements. Rick's early career is characterized by sequential successes as VP sales and marketing roles which effectively created long term growth models based on global sales channel management, product management, market communication, and market management. Formal education includes BS Engineering at College of Forestry at Syracuse University, Graduate of MPE Program for Executives at University of Pittsburgh.
Tom Erdle, Managing PartnerTom brings years of practical executive systems management and project management to clients. His background includes more than two decades of process and systems management in Fortune 500 companies, with extensive background in automation and e-business for engineered/industrial products. Since founding eLogic in 1999, Tom has further specialized in Sales and Product Configuration solutions, including implementation and integration of dozens of software and process breakthroughs. Tom is a tenacious, customer-oriented leader with a great track record in implementing successes where other software and consulting firms have fallen short. His experience with systems integration is widely recognized.
Carol Shields, V.P. Human Resource and FinanceCarol is a well-rounded Human Resources Management and Administrative professional with over fifteen years experience in Fortune 500 HR operations, management and administration. She brings particular strengths in recruiting, human relations management, performance-based compensation systems, and organization development. She has managed all human resources elements for high-performance technical and professional teams. Carol is a warm, open manager who brings a blend of practical problem-solving and people skills to her responsibilities. She is active in community affairs, youth education programs, and numerous charitable organizations.
Mark Stevens, Director of MarketingMark brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and business process management experience to eLogic. Prior to joining eLogic in 2002, Mark held sales and marketing management positions with ITT Industries, Goulds Pumps and SPX Corporation. An expert in the areas of product management and process design, he has held leadership positions in corporate initiatives such as product development, cost reduction, strategic planning, supply chain planning, and sales training. Mark has implemented process improvement projects in a wide variety of industries including Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Medical Products, Life Sciences, and Telecommunications. As an ASQ trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he combines his broad business knowledge with strong analytical skills to develop creative and simplified solutions to complex problems. Throughout his career, Mark has had a proven track record of delivering real results that drive improvements in productivity, quality and profitability.
