Airpel/Plenty Filtration, a unit of SPX Process Equipment Group, is a market leader in the design and manufacture of industrial filtration equipment. By leveraging an existing application at its sister company, LIGHTNIN Mixers, Airpel is launching an full scale eSales application to streamline the quotation and order entry processes for its major product lines. During the quote process, the system will assist users with proper product selection and feature/option configuration, establishing an accurate price and leadtime, and dynamic generation of a customer proposal document. At order entry, the application will prompt the user for all required technical and commercial information, structure the information, including Bills of Material, for entry into the manufacturing system and produce customer technical submittal documents.
