Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, a division of the SPX Process Equipment, is a major supplier of component equipment including pumps, valves, fittings, and heat exchangers. Recently, they embarked on a mySAP ERP Implementation at their Delavan, WI facility. WCB selected eLogic to lead this effort because of their extensive knowledge in designing and building SAP Variant Configurators, experience in migrating from legacy ERP systems to SAP, and knowledge of WCB’s existing environment.
Project requirements include the design, development and implementation of the SAP variant configurators. The VC design will utilize the powerful native SAP functionality which will minimize the need for customization, but still support WCB's business requirements. In addition to the VC development, eLogic was selected to lead the integration of WCB's eSales application with SAP. This application, which will be tightly integrated with SAP, is used extensively by WCB's sales organization. For a high percentage of its business, orders are submitted using eSales and fed directly to the shop floor with no manual intervention. The integration will include the creation of Sales Orders and Order BOMs, and all manufacturing instructions.
The project is the fourth in a series of VC Modeling and Integration project that eLogic has completed for SPX Process Equipment.
