Waukesha Electric selects eLogic Group to lead SAP Implementation Project

Waukesha Electric Systems, Inc., the largest U.S. manufacturer of medium power transformers, has selected eLogic Group to lead their SAP implementation at its transformer businesses in Waukesha, WI and Goldsboro, NC. The goal of the project is to implement a fully function SAP ECC 6.0 solution for this highly engineered product line.

eLogic Group was selected by Waukesha Electric based on our prior experience within similar Engineered to Order businesses, coupled with our expertise in the configuration and deployment of the SAP R/3 Variant Configurator. Following difficulties at start to the project, eLogic has hired to complete a Business Process Assessment to evaluate the potential of a SAP VC centric solution. Upon the successful completion of that phase, eLogic lead the development of a "Proof of Concept" phase to prove out the solution design. The goal of this phase was to design and build the necessary VC components at a level sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of SAP, and in parallel to design new business process that were critical to the success of the project.

With the successful completion of the POC, Waukesha Electric has now moved to the realization phase of the project, which is scheduled for completion by October 2008. Once completed, Waukesha will have a SAP solution that supports their key ETO business needs, as well as new business processes necessary to maximize the benefits of their SAP implementation.
